Hearts of Iron IV: Better Asian Focus Trees

I work alone in making the mods I make. As much as I enjoy creating historic content for Hearts of Iron 4, I am starting college and struggling to make ends meet and still have time to mod. That’s where you lovely people come in!

This Mod adds and improves focus trees for countries in East Asia. Also fixes some super ahistorically frustrating things that happen in basegame WWII, such as:

-Japan not invading Southeast Asia.
-Japan losing land to the Chinese or even being pushed out of Mainland Asia.
-Japan doing the exact opposite and just annexing/puppeting all of china.
-Japan not doing pearl harbor or doing it early/late.
-Japan repeatedly and painstakingly getting itself encircled in inner mongolia time and time again
-Basically just a lot of stuff to do with Japan.

GAMEPLAY ALTERATIONS:
-Instead of pushing into China, Japan will attempt to stay near the coast.
-The Sino-Japanese war will eventually “whitepeace” and continue slowly in the form of border wars/conflicts to represent the stalemate.
-War will re-initiate after Operation Ichi-Go
-Japan will aggressively and mercilessly naval invade its nearby enemies, including China, Indonesia, the Philippines, and (if the colonial powers don’t defend well enough) Australia.

COMPATIBILITY:

-Not compatible with any mods that edit focus trees or events for countries in East Asia (and possibly the rest of asia/the middle east).
-Semi compatible with mods that edit states. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but if the mod alters provinces then I recommend not trying it.
-Most certainly compatible with the Better European Focus Trees mod (in fact it’s advised that if you use one mod, you also use the other)

MANY OF THE FOCUS TREES ADDED ARE NOT MINE!

PLANS:

-Completely revamp all Asian focus trees and add paths for every ideology
-Alter the war in China to accurately represent the Sino-Japanese stalemate using border wars and microconflicts
-Fixing any current bugs and minimizing incompatibilities

While our single developer is working hard to make this mod better and better, he can’t do it all alone! Make sure to tell me in the comments if you experience any bugs in this mod, so I can troubleshoot it and eventually pass it along. We currently have an ambitious list of improvements planned, so please be patient!
