The Audi S5 was presented to the public at the same time as the A5. The car has a V8 FSI engine capacity of 4.2 liters, producing 354 HP (260 kW) at 6800 rpm and a torque of 440 N·m at 3500 rpm.
The transmission on the S5 is represented by a 6-speed manual transmission, which corresponds to the tradition of sports cars, as well as a 6-speed automatic transmission of the Tiptronic series, the use of which allows to reduce both fuel consumption by 2 l./100 km, and to reduce the share of carbon dioxide in the exhaust gases, which is essential for the Western European buyer.
External design: S5 differs from A5 more” aggressive ” front part – changed bumper, grille, wings, side mirrors have aluminum color. Behind the S5 are two pairs of exhaust pipes.
Like most Audi S and RS models, including led strips, for daytime running surrounding xenon bulbs (although on the Audi A5 they come as an optional extra). Also Audi S5 comes standard with 18-inch wheels made of light alloys (various designs), with large brake discs. Sport leather heated seats and other technical devices, some of which are available as an additional option on the standard A5 series
