In this short guideline i'll try to explain you how to instal mods for Ravenfield.
In this short guideline i’ll try to explain you how to install mods for Ravenfield.
There are two versions of the game – Steam and non-Steam version. Let’s consider both of them.
Install mods for Steam version:
- Go to mod’s page in steam workshop.
- Click on the “Subscribe” button.
- Launch the game.
Install mods for Non-Steam version:
- Create “mods” folder in “\Ravenfield\ravenfield_Data”. For example C:\Games\Ravenfield v26.08.2017\ravenfield_Data\mods
- After creating folder “mods”, you need create more folders in this folder
- Then unpack or move your mod ( (name).rfc ) into this folders (maps into folder “maps”, weapons into folder “weapons”.
- Launch the game.

I can’t install the custom vehicles (NON-STEAM version)
Don’t explaining how to download Steam mods for non-Steam Ravenfield.
Hi, my files when I download them are always .rar files, is there a way to make them .rfc files?

I tried downloading a mod and this horrible beeping started to happen telling me my computer detected a virus luckily i did not get one but i was close, So if you are planning on downloading a mod please be cautious. Also i’m not saying that gamejunkie is not good for downloading i’m just saying be careful.
Hello! Can you please tell me with what mod did you have this alert? I’ll try to reupload it. Also we do not host any mods on our server – all the mods are located on remote servers like sharemods. Thank You!
I made a mods folder as well as a weapons and maps folder in it and i put my mods as rfc in them but the mods don’t appear in the game?
There’s also another way to install custom maps. Access AppData\LocalLow\SteelRaven7\
After that, put the map file into the MapDescriptors. Icons are not required.
