2109 Satellite / Lada Samara (popularly called the “nine”) is the Soviet front wheel drive vehicle group II small class hatchback
The model developed and mass-produced at the Volga Automobile Plant from 1987 to 2004
Unlike its tribeswoman “eight” VAZ-2109 Satellite / Lada Samara is seen as more “solid” car for the family man
It affects the availability of five doors and as a consequence, less expressive appearance
However, the five-seater hatchback (especially the first years of release) is not avoided the fate described as a “chisel” for the characteristic wedge-shaped contours of the body
