– The third generation Volkswagen Passat with factory index B3 celebrated its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1988, then began its sales in the European market (to the North American car got in 1990, and to the South – in 1995 alone)
– only about 1.6 million of these “Passat” was released until October 1993, after which the model has undergone comprehensive modernization and transformed into a VW Passat B4. Volkswagen “Passat” third generation has some controversial design, but at the time it was one of the most streamlined cars produced in large quantities (the result is good, and so far – aerodynamic drag figure of 0.28)
