This mod adds Sparring Mats – Basic Training for Melee Defense & Martial Arts to the Game. Learn and produce new equipment. Buy and improve your own buildings. HaTsUnE_NeKo is now maintaining all of my Kenshi mods. Due to issues with updating existing mods as a contributor, HaTsUnE_NeKo will be the only person allowed to reupload updated versions of my mods.
Ever wanted to be able to train up my melee defense in a more realistic way? Want to give yourself a fighting chance early on? Or just want to beat up your freinds?
Well now you can!
With Sparing Mats, you can train your melee defense up to 20!
NEW: Now you there is a seperate sparring mat that you can use to train up your martial arts up to 20!
NOTE: In the build menu it will say that it trains up to level 42, but don’t worry, once you build it and click on it, it will say it only trains up to 20. This is because of some sort of bug with the FCS.
Also, adds Martial Arts Sparring Mat that trians up to level 10! I don’t reccommend using it up to level 10, as I think Martial Arts training should be hard, but people really wanted it, so here it is.
Due to the limitations of FCS I can’t make it require 2 people in order to train a character’s melee defense, but I can make it go a lot slower without 2 people. I’ll leave it up to you whether you want it to be immersive or not.

The hit box on this is very small, there really is no way it can be changed.
This also doesnt allow you to fight your teammates as this is not possible due to game limitations.
