Ravenfield: Warhammer 40k Chainsword

This mod adds Warhammer 40k Chainsword to Ravenfield.

Get ready to tear, slash, and roar your way through the masses with this state of the art chainsword from the Warhammer 40k universe. Weilded more like a sword than a chainsaw, this weapon can chain two attacks if used normally, or deliver an overhead slash while aiming. However, it is by no means a quiet weapon, so use in stealth operations is not advised.

The Chainsword is a common chain weapon, essentially a sword with motorized teeth that run along the blade like those of a chainsaw. Most versions make use of monomolecular-edged or otherwise razor sharp teeth. The weapon makes an angry buzzing sound as the teeth spin around, intensifying into a high pitched scream as they grind into armour.

It is a popular weapon of Imperial Guardofficers, and boarding and assault parties – such as Space Marine Assault Squads, Chaos Space Marines – especially Raptors – Eldar Striking Scorpions, and is often used against Pirates of this game.
