Millennium Dawn: Modern Day Mod
This mod adds Millennium Chaos: A Modern Day AI mod to the Game.
Authors description: Millennium Chaos: A Modern Day AI mod
Have you ever thought, “damn, I wish the modern day mod had more carnage and mass death like World War 2″… Then this mod is for you! Millenium Chaos adds detailed scripts to cause wars all over the map, as well as allowing the AI to justify war against nations who hold states they have claims to.
NOW HAS A VANILLA VERSION WHICH CAN BE FOUND HERE:

Is this all just random? No!
The AI is intelligently given claims which they then justify and declare war on based on a variety of factors, some of which can be found below
• Based on ideology and world tension, the likelyhood of nations declaring war on each other changes. For example, a nation that is nationalist has a 30% higher chance of justifying/declaring on any nation than a socialist nation. When world tension is at 15%, every nation has a 25% higher chance of declaring war than at 0%, and this trend continues until it’s practically inevitable that the world will be engulfed into flame.
• Nations also check if the nation they are justifying against has a bigger army, so no, they will not just suicide themselves against say, Russia.
• Stable Democractic governments (conservative, social liberal, social democrat, progressive, market liberal, democratic socialist) also will not attack each other until they strongly dislike each other, and nations that have good relations will also never attack each other, this means that Europe which has much more democracies is considerably more stable than, say, Africa. Which has quite a few dictatorial and aggressive regimes.
Make sure you check out the settings! There’s tons of features and functionality including dismanting factions in there!
If you are receiving a crash when Armenia and Azerbaijan go to war, this is not fixable by me directly. Instead simply go to settings -> miscellaneous settings -> remove existing claims and the problem should be resolved.
This should pretty much work with every other submod and Millennium Dawn compatible mod out there.
If you’re using observer mode to switch around different countries, the settings menu idea will break. Simply just type
event war_creation.5
and it will open the settings menu again.
Additionally since I ensured that no pictures or files other than simple text files with scripting would load, this file size is relatively tiny and should not be something to worry about (only 0.009 mb to be exact).
Anyways, what are you waiting for, download this mod!
VERSION 3.0 NOW LIVE!Major Features
• You can now access the settings at any time by going to the bottom of the ideas page and adding the millennium chaos idea
• Added a bunch of settings with an overhaul of the settings, some of which include:
• Added 2 brand new faction settings menus, allowing you to dismantle factions at any time, prevent countries from creating factions, and change the amount of world tension required until faction members will justify wargoals
• Added a “fun” settings menu that can be found under the miscellaneous settings menu that allows you to do some cool stuff including add equipment to all nations and set tension for all nations to 100%, as well as one more easter egg option you have to find yourself.
Minor Changes
• Changed initial average wargoal generation time from 8,000 to 8,500 days
• Changed menu GFX and layouts
• Fixed my terrible job aligning the burning UN flag in the thumbnail causing part of the bottom of the pole to appear to just magically cut off
Bug Fixes
• Fixed minor problems with localisations
• Fixed GFX issues
V3.1• Massive performance enhancement in late game
• Fixed issues with event menu firing two events simultaneously
V3.1.1• Fixed scope issue that could potentially have caused errors
